Join us for 2.5 days in the mountains of the beautiful Roanoke Valley at the height of peak foliage season for the inaugural EAL Summit.  Learn from experienced educators, centers, researchers, and practitioners on how to begin or advance EAL at your Center to broaden or enhance your Center’s mission and services, increase corporate exposure, and add programming and revenue streams to support your Center’s sustainability. 


With 24 options for sessions across 3 tracks, 4 featured speakers, qualified vendors and optional clinics, you’ll walk away with new EAL ideas, resources, tools, colleagues, and friends!

Arrive in the afternoon at one of the Host Hotels (click the links below for pricing and booking at our discounted rates!)

Join us at the Welcome Reception at the Roanoke Star! (weather permitting). Meet us at the Star or park at the bottom and hike/walk up to the Star as an optional activity (20-30 min. walk each way)

Friday,

Oct 25

Programming until 4 p.m. (see full schedule), followed by networking reception with food and live music by Nashville singer/songwriter Templeton Thompson at Healing Strides arena.

Saturday,
Oct 26

Programming until 4 p.m. (see full schedule).

Oct 27

Sendoff breakfast on-your-own at hotel.  There will be 4-6 optional, concurrent Sunday clinics offered at Healing Strides for an additional fee for those who want to stay and attend (clinic details coming soon!). Optional Sunday Clinics will go until 4 p.m. on Sunday, so plan travel accordingly.  Sunday Clinics can be registered via phone and paid for via credit card by calling 540.334.5825 and asking for Pearline.  Note that Optional Sunday Clinic registration fees are in addition to and not included in EAL Summit Registration tickets.
